I'm creating a database application for all the production
work at the agency I work on. If I have the "Bitmap Pict preview"
and the "Portfolio Preview" options turned on in the preferences,
its easy enough to get the preview out of the file (its a simple
PICT resource). But most of our old FreeHand files were saved
without that option, only with the JPEG preview option turned on.
When I click the FreeHand file in the Open dialog, I do get a
preview, so I know that the preview is there somewhere, saved
inside the FreeHand file. But, how can I get that preview to use in
my database application?
This is a question for the developers out there, I assume![]()
