FH MX won't open on MacBookPro using OS 10.6

I just installed FH MX on my new MacBook Pro running 10.6. When I double click the FH icon it jumps up and down for a few seconds in the bar and then dissappears. The version of FH is 11.0.2.

Any help would be great. I really don't like Illustrator and still.plan on doing any drawing in FH, if possible.
