Why aren't URL links showing up in pdf written from freehand MX?

I selected the text I wanted to apply the URL to. Pulled down the Navigation menu, typed in the URL address, hit tab and the selected type appeared in the Substring text box. I then chose Get URL under Action; _self under Parameters; on (press) under Event and then closed the box. Wrote a ps file and then from that a pdf and the URL link doesn't show up in the pdf.

I've got OS 10.6.2, Freehand mx, distiller & acrobat CS4.

Any suggestions, oh wise Freehand gurus out there???
