I have ALWAYS been a Freehand user and love it! I now have a
job that is forcing me to use Illustrator CS2. I am trying to bluff
my way through using Illustrator (which I do not know and do NOT
like) so my employer won't notice. Since I have Freehand 10 at
home, I thought if I brought my Illustrator files home, I could
open them in Freehand, work on them and then convert them back to
Illustrator. I guess I asking for the impossible? I have tried
every conceivable way to save Illustraor "as"...and nothing works.
Not only that, I cannot find any help, forum, or graphic artist
friend that knows the answer. It is not even addressed (anywhere I
can find) on this website. At least they could write somewhere,
"NOT POSSIBLE"" if that is the case. I don't have time to learn
Illustrator but I am TRYING to understand the differences and my
brain isn't comprehending any of it. Maybe it is because I am
nearing 50? Do any of you know if it at least NOT POSSIBLE? I am
ETERNALLY grateful for your help.
