Batch Convert Freehand to Illustrator

Hi,
Has anbody got any smart ideas how to Batch Convert Thousands of Freehand 8 and 9 Files to an Illustrator 7 or less format (but not 88 as its not supported)? We need to get the files into Itedo Isodraw 6.

Any help would be gratefully received.
