Hi,
I have rgb 46 55 84 in a tiff imported into freehand. Print the page to pdf and I see a grey item, not dk blue.
It does this from FH9 or MX. Create the colour in FH and print to pdf a box filled with that colour, I see a grey box in the pdf.
Click the mixer in FH to see cmyk and it shows grey for that colour. So distiller is converting to cmyk perhaps, I try to set Distiller to preserve rgb, choosing sRGB then Adobe RGB when deeper into it, try that, no joy, Try a few other rgb settings, no joy.
What settings should I have distiller on so that is preserves my rgb tiff and rgb solid colours from freehand ?
I wondered about exporting the pages as eps to Photoshop, as pdf from photoshop of that blue is ok, but I need to con to path the text, and as its linked text across pages, FH wont ctp linked text. Breaking the text up across an article and resiting everything is not a pleasant experience. How damn silly not to be able to ctp an article.
Cheers
