The postScript fonts in my Freehand files have suddenly vanished from view. Text box outline still there, but box is blank. Even when I view in outline mode - cannot see any fonts. Tried to convert to paths, but that too is not working around this issue - gives an error message saying it cannot convert to outlines. - TrueTypes appearing fine.
Reinstalled application itself...no resolve. Even worse now, as hand tool barely working; seems I need to hold it down for a few seconds before I can move around the screen. When I try to print to PPD to create a press-ready PDF, the generated PDF also missing those same fonts.
No recent system changes or upgrades. Just using this old package on an XP virtual machine to access older files.
Could a memory issue be causing this problem by any chance?
