Hi
I have a basic square. I draw a line with the pen tool across the width of the square. I turn off the line's stroke and fill. I select the line and square and use the Combine > Divide menu to break the square along the line into 2 pieces. Great. It works how I want except a seam is left.
What do I mean by a seam? I mean that after the break, there is a white mess separating the 2 halves. This strikes me as incorrect. Is there another way to cleanly break a shape into 2 without such a seam?
