TIFF cmyk transparency images and paths in Freehand MX with effects

Hello! I just want to work only with freehand but i'm having serious problems.

I'm working in a magazine with freehand with a lot a tiff cmyk images i edited with photoshop, a lot of them have transparency and also i have titles on each page that after convert to path i put them an effect (inner bevel, transparency).

The problem: export to pdf or send to print with distiller:

1) Select each page and export as pdf (1.4). The resolution is not the best.

2) Use the distiller with a press.joboptions and pdf (1.4). Well here i have the problem: freehand stuck, not work.

Try to make a path with inner bevel for example in freehand, then import a tiff cmyk image with transparency on the front and another one on the back of the path. Then export or print with distiller. What happend?
Pls... tell me what's the result.
