I am now in charge of 20 years worth of FH files!
My strong suit is InDesign, and I'm comfortable, but not advanced with Illustrator. (Haven't cared or needed to explore the Artboards introduced a few releases back)
By training, I'm PC, and the FH files are all Mac based.
Notwithstanding fonts, the few hiccups with checking a few files into Illy, is the Links broken in these files. The creator was not strong on "best practice workflows" or efficiency. That were all designed and maintained by one individual going back to FH5 or so, and never included a file extension.
Having ported the files from a removable HDD to my Mac, 10.4.6 and PC, any words of wisdom?
I am about to install FH10 or MX(?) on PC and Mac.
btw, none of these files are long documents, simple stationery sets mostly.
