Hey all,
We have 2 letter size pages that need to print on a tabloid (11x17) sheet at the printer. But we need to be able to proof it here on regular letter size paper. Illustrator does this fine (we go to pdf first and then to printer). But MX on both Mac and PC either gives us 4 pages with the text cut off on 1 page and 3 blank pages or only 1 page, still with the text clipped. We have tried all permutations of auto or manual tiling, page orientation, page size, etc in the print dialog box and printer properties box.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a solution? It appears that InDesign and QuarkXpress also cannot do this, but it seems like such a basic need.
