Fonts with Leopard

Hi Judy,

Below is copy of your post about converting fonts to True Type. I tried converting one of my Postscript fonts with FontXChange to TrueType with negative results. I put the converted folder in my user/Library/fonts folder and still could not get the font to print correctly. Should I have restarted after replacing the folder? Please give me your advice.

Regards,

Because of this, we are into workaround territory when aspects of FH fail to
work on new operating systems. When printing Postscript fonts from FH on
Leopard I have resorted to workarounds. Here are some that work for me.

1. Duplicate file, convert text to paths, print. The original file remains
editable.

2. Print to a Postscript file formatted for the printer. Drag the Postscript
file to the printer's print queue.

3. Print to Postscript file. Distill. Print the resulting PDF from Acrobat
Pro.

4. Switch to TrueType versions of fonts.
