Is there a future for Freehand?
None of us devoted users know the answer to that small but important question.
And why is that? We all discussed about it in many threads... but all we got was a "public" statement that Freehand will be developed on a customers needs basis.
As a Freehand and Adobe customer, I don't have a clue what this actually means. Don't we deserve more?
How long will it take for somebody from Adobe to answer technical problems users are encountering with Freehand and raising in this forum? Never.
Is this the support we expected when we purchased Freehand? No.
Can I only get a desired answer if I dial Adobe's number? Obviously Yes (?).
Does the Illustrator monopoly give us freedom of choice? I don't need to answer that.
I think it's a shame for such a big company to treat users like that.
They bought Macromedia and with that the responsibility to Macromedia users.
But nobody, after year and a half, gives a damn.
