I've made my living off of Freehand and I've been using Freehand since 3.1 I've built my skills according to this program. I've tested these against illustrator time and time again and have found that freehand far and away is faster to draw with (using my techniques anyway). I know illustrator quite well, I use it almost as much as Freehand but don't draw with it any more than I have to. I don't keep up with the latest goings on so I'm wondering if anybody has the same situation or knows what is happening/has happened with this program or if Freehand is being killed off or canabalized for a newer better Illustrator.

I'm trying to make a discission to either ditch freehand and bite the bullet or stick with Freehand until Adobe comes up with an improved version.

Any comments would be helpful.

Thanks
